The resources used for First Aid & CPR are the Red Cross Adult Manual, (which is given out to each participant), Actar dummies and the Red Cross First Aid Kit including bandages, dressing, gauzes and real life scenarios. This training is Level C CPR and runs for two full day session. AED Trainers available for smaller classes.
Mix It Up Safely with 
Responsible Alcohol Beverage Service Training Kit includes a workbook and test, which are given to each participant. The facilitator assists with workbook quizzes and questions that arise from the video. Upon completion each test must be sent to Smart Serve Ontario to be graded. Smart Serve Ontario will send NCDS certificate cards and pins for those participants who successfully pass the test.

The Skilled Trades workshop provides a general orientation to the types of jobs that are considered a trade as well as, detailed information about the labour market and the future job opportunities in the skilled trades arena. This workshop was designed as a Power Point presentation; however, it can also be done on a one to one basis if an individual needs information about a specific trade.
Surfing for a Job? Try
This workshop is a hands-on and get comfortable with the computer. Internet Job search booklets with numerous websites are handed out along with the rationale behind why using the Internet is becoming more and more a needed skill.
No Sweat 
What to do and what not to do is the basis of this workshop. Each participant is given a booklet with tips and sample interview questions. We also spend time discussing how to combat being nervous and practice our skills in a mock interview.

Start a resume now! This workshop gets you started immediately learning how to create the best resumes and cover letters for your personal style. Booklets with tips and templates are provided to each participant.
Work Safe with 
WHMIS For Workers is a self-study program that includes a video, participant’s guide and test. The facilitator assists with questions and grades the test to provide a certificate of completion.
Young Workers Awareness Program (YWAP) is a guide for young people in the workforce. It introduces the rights and responsibilities of the government, employer and employee. This program provides real life situations with video, resource books and CD-Rom information as well.
Got a Job, Now Keep the Job with 
Booklets were created to help participants recognizes the different ways to meet and exceed on the job. This workshop details how to keep a job and become an asset to the boss and company.
Stop Idling and Start Cruising with 
Not sure what kind of career to start? Try Career Cruising. This workshop gets you on the computer answering questions that will help you discover a Career based on your likes and dislikes. The program provides career and school information as well as, the ability to save your profile and continue researching later.

Welcome to an introductory information workshop designed to give you the basics of becoming a Traffic Control Person. This program deals with the traffic hazards on site and hazards of traffic on public roadways from the perspective of workers on foot. The goal of the program is for participants to learn to recognize traffic hazards caused by moving vehicles and heavy equipment on or near construction projects by workers on foot and to become familiar with basic control of these hazards.
