NCDS is here to provide free employment services to employed, unemployed and underemployed (less than 20 hours per week) individuals. We provide a central location for accessing Federal Government forms, and assist individuals to make applications to Employment Ontario funded programs.
We offer career coaching to help individuals find the right job. The coaching involves one-on-one sessions where a trained career coach works with you to explore your skills, interests, and goals. They provide guidance on job searching, writing resumes, preparing for interviews, and setting career goals. The aim is to give you the tools and confidence to make informed decisions about your career and take steps toward your professional success.
The NCDS Resource and Information Centre offers a variety of helpful services for job seekers and those looking to advance their careers. We provide access to job search tools, career advice, and information on training programs. You can find resources like resume templates, interview tips, and information on local employers. We also offer access to free computers and printers, allowing you to work on your resume, search for jobs online, or print important documents. The team is available to help you understand your options, provide guidance on career choices, and connect you with the right support to succeed in your job search.
The NCDS Job Board is located in the NCDS Resource and Information Centre and is regularly updated as new job listings come in and as positions are filled. Job seekers can visit the Job Board to find a variety of jobs across different industries, making it a useful resource for anyone looking for work.
