We are excited to offer workshops both on-site and off-site, and we want to ensure everything runs smoothly for a positive experience. To help us achieve this, we kindly ask that the following guidelines be met:
1. Workshop Location & Supervision
The workshop should take place in a building where the host organization’s staff are present. For everyone’s safety and comfort, the workshop facilitator cannot be alone with participants, and a staff member from the host organization must be present to supervise.
2. Participant Behavior & Support
If there are any disruptive behaviors, the responsibility of addressing them falls to the host organization. We work together to create a productive and positive environment for all participants!
3. Childcare Arrangements
We want participants to be fully engaged in the workshop, so we recommend making childcare arrangements in advance to ensure they can attend without distraction.
4. Safety & Respect
We reserve the right to end a workshop if we feel the safety of participants or facilitators is at risk, or if there is a lack of respect or engagement from participants.
5. Attendance Minimum
To ensure the best experience for everyone, we require at least 50% of the projected participants to attend. For example, if we expect 10 participants, we need at least 5. If the minimum attendance is not met, the instructor may cancel the session. In this case, the community or organization will be charged $0.61 per kilometer for travel expenses.
We look forward to working with you and providing a meaningful learning experience! Please reach out if you have any questions or need assistance with any of the guidelines.
